Maternity sessions are photographed typically when you are around 30-34 weeks pregnant.  However, it is most important to make sure you feel good and are still comfortable, so it can vary for everyone. I photograph newborn babies before they are 10 days old (preferably) in your home. These sessions are relaxed and most pictures are candid and lifestyle in nature. Meaning, I capture you welcoming your new baby home and getting settled. I photograph you feeding the baby, cuddling or introducing he or she to the other siblings. These sessions include the mother and father and siblings only. I will also do limited posed pictures of the baby, especially if there are certain poses that you really want. We discuss this session in great detail so you know exactly what to expect regarding posing, props and any other specifics that need to be clarified before I arrive.
